Tour de Christmas

Our first stop on the tour was Aunt Barbara's for celebrating with Big Nanny and my dad's side of the family. Spencer was still under the weather with an ear infection and was very quiet and snuggly but he had fun playing on his new Thomas the train toy from Big Nanny. And I guess he and Daddy enjoyed holding Maddy's "Pretty Pretty Princess" game...

Can you sense the chaos?
Nanny loved her blanket with pictures of all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Our next stop was at Nanny's house to celebrate with our ever-growing family of 15. It's a good thing that Mom and Dad added on to the house last year because we definitely need the space when we're all there!
The best picture I could get of the 5 cousins
Maddy, Franklin, and Emma in the gift pile
The girls enjoying these ride-on thingys (I enjoyed riding them too!)
A little bit of "Just Dance 3" to wrap up the night!
On Christmas Day after church we went to Grandma's house to celebrate with the Boyds. Here are the cousins and cousins' families (minus Chris and Spencer, who had already gone back to Nanny's house for a nap.)
On Monday we packed up the car and headed North for Christmas with Chris's family. Cari, Bill, and Abigail came down and spent the night and we opened presents on Tuesday morning and ate lots of delicious food and way too many cookies!
Grampa makes a good jungle-gym
Maddy as Belle
Abigail and Maddy playing with Maddy's new cash register
Abigail's pajamas coordinated nicely with Maddy's and Spencer's... they all had penguin jammies on!
Spencer has to taste all of the toys before he plays with them.
Snuggling in front of the fire
And roasting marshmallows
Another wonderful Christmas in the books. We loved visiting everybody but we were very eager to get home. Thank you family for all of your hospitality! And thanks Gram and Grampa for keeping the kiddos so Chris and I could have a date-night!
