Christmas at Home

We celebrated Christmas a few days early at home so that we could visit family for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and several days after. We started our day somewhat leisurely (and I use that term very loosely) and after Spencer's morning nap we headed out for brunch at Brig's, which has become one of our Christmas Eve traditions.

That evening the kids opened their new Christmas pajamas and then an ornament. Maddy was very excited to open a ballerina ornament and Spencer thought his Mickey Mouse ornament was quite tasty!

We didn't take a single picture of the kids opening presents! We did get video but we were just having too much fun to worry with the camera. Here are a few pictures we snapped once things settled down a bit and the kids were able to play with their new toys.

Maddy painted her finger and toe nails probably 15 times that day!
Spencer is a basketball natural!

Happy birthday Jesus! We had a wonderful day together and we are so incredibly blessed! Stay tuned for our Christmas celebrations on the road!
